The McGill IBD Research Group is actively involved in many types of research
The clinical research team at the MUHC IBD Centre (housed in the Montreal General Hospital), as well as at the Montreal Children’s Hospital and the Jewish General Hospital, both McGill-affiliated hospitals, work to ensure that patients have access to the latest clinical trials which include new drugs and innovative diagnostic tools. The clinical research team, supported by the McGill IBD Research Group, is an integral part of ensuring the highest level of care for our patients. In addition to the Crohn’s Disease clinical trials and Ulcerative colitis clinical trials, there are a number of Prospective IIS studies (Investigator-Initiated) taking place.
