We are pleased to invite you to attend the 2026 annual IBD Fundraiser, featuring world-renowned comedian Sugar Sammy!

The evening will consist of a 6 PM cocktail dinatoire for sponsors, catered by Wolfe-Montcalm (formerly Java-U Catering), followed by a stand-up comedy show with Sugar Sammy at 8 PM.

Funds raised support the care of 10,000 patients treated at the IBD clinics in the McGill-teaching hospitals:

• Montreal General Hospital,
• Montreal Children’s Hospital,
• Jewish General Hospital,
• Saint-Mary’s Hospital.

Michael Assaraf has been supporting the IBD community in Montreal for over a decade. Providing specialized medications to patients living with IBD and other diseases, Michael and his team at Sanavie ensures that every patient is cared for exceptionally.

The Dr. Seidman Award in IBD Excellence recognizes those who have truly made a difference in the lives of those living with Inflammatory Bowel Disease and Michael has done just that. Like the namesake of this award, Michael always goes the extra step in caring for those who need it most.
